Emotional Freedom Technique for Reproductive Health

You may have heard of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) as tapping. EFT is based on using acupressure points. EFT uses the same meridian systems used in acupuncture but instead of using needles, you use your fingers and tap on different points on your body. The tapping on these special points balances the energy disruptions, releases negative emotions, and helps us back into a state of balance where we approach challenges with a rational and logical outlook. Negative emotions can be resolved with EFT by being replaced with more healthy emotions that benefit our physical and emotional well-being. The tapping can seem unnatural at first, but once you get started you will soon understand how quickly it can reduce, and usually eliminate, intense negative emotions. 

EFT can be used in many different ways surrounding reproductive health and wellness. Our emotions contribute to infertility, pregnancy discomforts, birthing pains and complications, difficulty nursing, difficulties with postpartum healing, and so much more. EFT gives us a way to change the manner in which our emotions affect us which allows us to enjoy our body's natural state of wellness.

  • Staying optimistic during infertility

  • Improving physical discomfort or pain related to pregnancy symptoms, such as morning sickness, fatigue, headaches, and other discomforts

  • Easing stress or anxiety about giving birth

  • Reducing the sensations of labor while having an un-medicated birth

  • Reducing stress or anxiety during a cesarean birth

  • Address relationship issues that may stand in the way of a healthy family interaction

I say this often... I believe that healing starts from within. Learning EFT can be tremendously helpful in reducing stress and managing trauma.
